The former president's Family Member Gets Professional Tips from Golf Legend Woods Prior to LPGA First Appearance
This young athlete maintains impressive social media presence
The young golfer can count on multiple well-known supporters as she begins her LPGA debut this Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, obtained a sponsor's invitation to play at the Annika competition in Florida.
Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, owns multiple courses worldwide and frequently competes against his granddaughter.
"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we play competitive games," she mentioned.
The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Simply stay calm."
"He basically suggested to go out there and enjoy myself," she continued.
"From my perspective, he's simply an ordinary family member. He's not attending for the tournament. He's focused on world affairs, so he's somewhat preoccupied."
Being non-professional, Kai has participated in just three tournaments in 2024 and has the 461st position in AJGA rankings.
But she can seek guidance from golf legend, who is dating Vanessa.
"He is the greatest golfer globally," the young golfer said.
"Additionally, he's a more impressive human being. He advised me to play, have fun, following the flow."
The golfer will compete against some of top competitors in the sport at this tournament, including world number two Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
The LPGA commented that her participation brings golf to different demographics, particularly with the next generation.
Kai has a massive following and recently launched her own fashion and living company.
Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
